TINGAKI – COARSE SAND – SHALLOW WATER – BLUE FLAG Tingaki Beach is one of the longest beaches on Kos approx 9km of beautiful long coarse white sand and crystal clear shallow water ideal for children. Sun beds and brollies are easily rented, and many water sports are available, swimming, snorkelling, pedalos, jet skiing, banana rides, extreme rings, water skiing and windsurfing (local school available for instruction). This beach is very popular with the local population that gives you a fair idea how good it is. The area is liberally sprinkled with plenty of large and small hotels, furnished apartments and rooms for rent. Being a popular destination there are plenty of shops, bars, cafes and tavernas serving anything from traditional Greek fare to sausage, chips and beans. With Kos Town so close by the nightlife is fantastic.
