 MARMARI – SAND - Marmari beach is situated in the north, a gorgeous long sandy beach. It’s close to Kos Town and approx 5km from Pyli. It’s well organized with sun beds, brollies and lots of different water sports are available. There’s an abundance of different types of accommodation on offer in the area, and an equally good chose of tavernas, restaurants, and cafes. Places to visit - The most notable feature are the salt pans, great if you are into photography or bird watching. The shoreline offers great views of the two islands of Pserimos, Kalymnos and of Turkey; they are all easily visited by catching a ferry here or from any number of ports on this side of Kos. Transport - Access to the beach Kos Town is very easy by bus, with frequent service, by taxi and of course by rented and private car and motorbikes.
