AGIOS THEOLOGOS – SAND WITH LARGE ROCKS FOR SUNBATHING

Agios Theologos or Wave beach is situated on the west side and at the southern most tip of the island. The beach can be reached by travelling approx 9km from the village of Kefalos. It’s a small sand and shingle beach with large rocks that are perfect for laying your towel on for sunbathing; please remember to keep the sun cream topped up. The area is great for windsurfing, but as the name suggests the waves make it ideal for surfing. Apart from the main section there are other small bays (Sunset beach, Paradiso beach, Virgin beach to name a few) that can be reached on foot, due to their seclusion they might be ideal if you fancy an all over tan.

There are not many places to find refreshment this far south so do take water with you, dehydration is not the best way to enjoy your holiday.

Places to visit - small church of Aghios Ioannis Theologos, the village have a day to celebrate him on or around 29th of August, with a local feast.
